Saturday, March 6 10:00-4:00 - Annual Barter Day at the Store.
Join us for this truly fun day of trading treasures with your friends and neighbors. Start gathering your trade items - these can be services too. The Barter Day will be one of many activities for the celebration of the 85th Anniversary of the Store.
It was on March of 1925 when Tom Rickman opened its doors for the first time. It is an important event and we want to celebrate it with a variety of activities. You cannot miss it! Barter Day in the morning; Dulcimer Music; Story telling with Gary Carden and Dave Waldrop at noon; crafts demonstrations and sales; and a Music Jam in the afternoon. It will be a great day.
If you want to celebrate with us by supporting the efforts at the Store, a suggested donation of $85 (one dollar for each year of the Store), can be made to the Land Trust for the Little Tennessee. Donations of items that once belonged to the Store, photos, and memorabilia are also welcome! Feel free to contact Elena with questions.
